Wheelchair adapted taxis provide a welcome chance to escape for a few hours!

Many long term patients are in hospital or care homes for months.  However, some hospitals will allow patients outside for a few hours and often taxi companies have cars that will take a wheelchair.  It isn't cheap but, for special occasions, it is a fantastic opportunity for a patient to get a change of scenery.
