Warwick hospital staff brought food from hospital canteen to tempt a frail patient
When a patient ,who was refusing hospital food, asked for a full English breakfast, staff visited the hospital's canteen to get him exactly what he wanted.
Staff on Malin Ward bought bacon and tomatoes to encourage an elderly patient, who was suffering from dementia, to eat some nourishing food. Their efforts were rewarded when the patient gave them a huge smile the moment he saw the food.
The relatives were also helped by this simple, but highly effective, initiative.
