A cheerful smile goes a long way
So obvious but, sadly, some still do need reminding. We are very grateful for this simple message from a community staff nurse...
A smile goes a long way , when entering a patients home .
Introducing yourself by first name , willl hopefully put a patient at ease .
Listening to patients is so important also to their carers, as they begin to trust you . Its about taking a little extra time in your day to be there for some one else.
