Moving or raising the bed for a better view
Staff at Alveston Leys Nursing Home in Warwickshire regularly raise my mother's bed and position it near to the open window in he bedroom so that she can see the view outside. It's a a simple idea but, as my mum cannot speak or move, it is an opportunity for her to see outside, feel the warmth of the sun and to experience the gentle breeze.
