AHVRP gives award to 'Life Histories' project at Banner Baywood Medical Centre and Heart Hospital.
It is so important that patients are not seen just in terms of their illnesses. This is an American scheme organised by volunteers which gives patients the opportunity to give their life stories. It won the Association of Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals 2008 award.
