We regularly give talks at a variety of venues across the country. We have spoken at major conferences, dinners, and other major meetings. These have included The House of Lords, The House of Commons, 10 Downing Street, Buckingham Palace, The Royal Society of Medicine and the QEII Conference Centre in London. We also run Master Classes and Workshops.

An Evening of Musical Entertainment!

Kissing it Better was delighted to welcome popular choir Tarantara ( to St John the Baptist Church, Aston Cantlow, Warwickshire on 12th April 2014. It was a fantastic evening and the choir had everyone singing along.

We plan to hold a repeat event next year, so do keep an eye on our Events page and update emails for information.

Charity Street Collection, Stratford upon Avon

In March, Kissing it Better held a street collection in Stratford upon Avon town centre. Thank you to those who came along to help during the day - especially to Maisie the Pets as Therapy dog and her owners Linda & Phil who travelled from Walsall to help raise money & awareness!

Fundraising for Christmas Stockings at the Lister Hospital

KiB stand at the Lister Hospital Liz Pryor, Kissing it Better's Project Co-ordinator in Hertfordshire, raised money in the lead up to Christmas to fill stockings for patients on the two elderly care wards in the Lister Hospital, Stevenage. Thank you to everyone who supported this project - the stockings were very well received!

Birmingham Community Gospel Choir

Thank you to Maxine Brooks and The Birmingham Community Gospel Choir for a fantastic evening of inspirational and uplifting gospel music at Birmimgham Town Hall. The concert was in aid of three charities, including Kissing it Better, so thanks also to everyone who came to support us!

Tea & Tales - A Nostalgic Afternoon With Kissing it Better

In August, Kissing it Better held its first big fundraising event, 'Tea & Tales', in the beautiful village of Aston Cantlow, Warwickshire. With a village walk & quiz, and a vintage afternoon tea, guests came from far and wide to help us raise much needed funds and learn more about our work. Thank you to all who supported the day.

In August, Maisie, Pets as Therapy dog took time out from her hospital visits to help Kissing it Better raise money at Morrisons, Walsall. Thanks to Maisie, her owner Linda and other local volunteers who came to help on the day. Bucket collections in supermarkets are not only a great way of raising funds, but help to spread awareness about our work.

Heath Mount pupils transform hospital garden

gardenPupils from Heath Mount School, Hertford, spent a week digging, weeding, re-planting and painting a mural in the Lister Hospital's Strathmore Garden. They hung bird houses, created a 'Buggingham Palace' insect hospital and held a garden party to launch the official opening. All plants were donated by local garden centres. Thank you to everyone involved - a wonderful project!
