Alzheimer's Society urges early diagnosis of dementia to help patients and relatives plan the future
Research has shown that early diagnosis of dementia can give patients and their loved ones the opportunity to seek relevant help and treatment in the community. With the appropriate support within the home environment, a person with dementia may well be able to manage a reasonably independent life for longer.
