Why do we need funding?

To organise activities in hospitals and care homes, and to pay for incidental materials and expenses to supplement voluntary contributions in kind and in free time.
To upgrade the website (while maintaining its simplicity) and so raise the project’s profile.
To strengthen existing links with key opinion formers and policy makers, such as the Department of Health and the Patients who already link to our site.
To add more first-class ideas to the web site.
To start an awareness campaign to encourage participation and sponsor awards, if appropriate.
To make links to the media and to contribute articles to medical periodicals.
To attend key health seminars and conferences.
To provide some limited administration for telephone contact, website management and research.
To create a series of short films, highlighting Kissing it Better ideas, for use as teaching aids and on screens in GP, outpatient and casualty waiting areas.
