Cocktails in the garden lift the spirits of residents at a Care Home in Derbyshire
We are very grateful to Kim Morris, who works as a cook at a residential home in Derbyshire, for sending us this idea.
She writes...
'I work in a Home and we often have cocktails in the garden. The drinks do not have to be alcoholic. We serve fancy fruit juices diluted with sparkling wine or lemonade. We use glasses that are not used every day - champagne hiball etc . All are trimmed with fruit, olives and decorative straws. The residents enjoy the change and visitors often join us.'
