Breast cancer - a simple pillow can help

A ward Manager at St Thomas' hospital told us about the following simple idea.

For many women, a small pillow, strategically placed under the arm, or across the chest while driving, can offer support and comfort following breast surgery.

Before using the pillow, please check with your doctor that this means of support is suitable for the surgery you have undergone.

The pillows can be bought on-line. There are also patterns available for those who would prefer to make one themselves.

The website below is one of many that offer this kind of cushion. Enter breast cancer pillow into google for a wider choice.
