Blankets can bring warmth and comfort to immobile patients

Janet Cross from Bath sent us this idea.

Patients Sitting Out Often Get Cold Legs.
When I was Sister on a geriatric ward I insisted a blanket was draped on the seat of the chair and then wrapped round their legs. If necessary an incontinence sheet could be placed on the blanketed seat before the patient was seated.
