The Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre, Leeds - Complementary Therapies

Over 20 Complementary therapists volunteer their time and skills at The Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre, providing free sessions to people affected by cancer (patients and their families).

The Robert Ogden Centre is an environment where patients and their families can drop in for a drink, some time out, or just a chat

All services are available free to anyone affected by cancer: patients, relatives and carers. Appointments for therapies can be arranged by contacting The Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre on: 0113 206 6499 between 10am-4pm Monday to Friday. Email: cancerpatientinformation@leedsth.nhs.uk


Therapies include;
Aromatherapy, massage, reflexology, reiki, indian head massage, cranio sacral therapy, relaxation, visualisation, hypnotherapy.
Therapists see clients in the comfort of the therapy rooms at The Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre but if they are unable to get away from the ward then the therapist brings the treatment to the patient within the hospital.
All therapies are intended to promote relaxation and feelings of well being. Working alongside conventional cancer treatment and alongside the patients healthcare team.
