About Kissing It Better
The Team
Jill Fraser trained as a nurse at the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing at St Thomas' Hospital in London. During her training, she was awarded a scholarship by The Kings Fund to work in America. The experience gave her an interest in medical journalism and over the last 20 years she has presented health features for many programmes on television and radio including Womans Hour , Newsround and Breakfast Time for the BBC.
Nicola Matthews trained as a Registered General Nurse in Warwickshire and then as a Registered Midwife at what is now the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire. She worked as a Matron of a large Nursing home prior to having her five children, then set up the position of College Nurse at South Warwickshire College. She has been a lecturer in Health & Social Care and managed to juggle practising both surgical and medical nursing around bringing up her family.
